She was the one,
whom I adored,
when she was so bold,
to spillout her heart..
She was the one ,
who longed for love,
but earned it never,
when spoke out so loud..
she was the one,
with a core too soft,
crushed every time,
when moving around,
by cruel words of a world,
that never understood her right,
as it was so shallow,
to measure her depth..
she was the one ,
who was lonely in a crowd,
but sung like a bird,
with laughter in her voice..
she had those eyes,
hazy but gleaming,
which oozed out blood,
not tears in pain..
she was the one,
with the heart of a rain,
it pained and showered,
made sketches in the mud..
she was a fragment ,
of a huge lonely soul,
of which we all belong,
and was teared long back in heaven,
spread on an earth's sky,
landed up in hills and oceans ,
where they still lie..
some shined well,
some perished unnoticed,
but this one was a fragnment,
which gleamed like a pearl..
now she has left,
leaving back a vaccuum,
memories of her thoughts,
mingling with my pain..
Now I do believe,
she wil find that love,
which she searched unending,
on this dry soil, and found never..,
and now I hope she will find,
the god she wanted to melt with,
who never lived in a man's heart..

thank you for the tribute. Kamala who wrote in our language under the name madhavikutty had only a limited vocabulary in malayalam. still she wrote excellent short stories (in her mother tongue she chose to write stories rather than poems) which is unparalleled in the language as she wrote her soul out.
